I'm not talking about even ad campaigns. I'm talking direct statements by Lotus executives. Even back on the "Work the Web" campaign (which was way ahead of its time and one of the most lucid IT campaigns I've ever seen), the ads talked about it more than the execs did. They were always focused on email and discussion groups. Indeed, the term "groupware" caused a lot of missed thinking about this software for a long time.
